Swine Flu
This is my fifth day in my room/flat, I can not go out because I might have Swine flu........The weather is sooooooooooooooooo nice and warm outside, but I have to stay in.............
Last sunday I felt unwell, symptoms of coughing, runny nose, fever and extremely tired even after good hours of sleep, I thought it might be my hay fever and the effect of the night duty on saturday night ???? But, after taking anti-histamine tablets and paracetomal, the sypmtoms still no change on Monday morning. I had to called in to cancel my study day...and also phoned the Flu hotline for advice.
This Flu hotline was established in UK for people who suspect themself or their family members have Swine flu to call in for advice and to check whether their eligibility to get "Tamiflu" . "Tamflu" is the anti-viral drugs which are not a cure but they help to recover if taken 48 hours of the symptoms developing, by relieving some of the symptoms and reducing the length of time you aree ill. You can not buy Tamiflu from the drugs counters or prescribed by GP, but........you can order from the Internet...internet ????? Can you trust them ???? Even you have to pay the price as high as 120 pounds, that is totally crazy...to order from the internet... I got my Tamiflu from the Flu Collection Centre for FREE.
After the Flu worker assessed me via phone, and informed me that I was eligilable to this Tamiflu, and ask my friend or family member to collect the drugs for me. So sad.... I have nobody to collect for me..cos the centre (outside of London) is miles away from the place I live, I also can not ask my flatmates cos we still in continue dispute.....The best way is "to do it yourself" if you live oversea or far away from your mates.
The first two days were the worst, but the symptoms ease a bit afterward, still have temperature and not as active as before, was I getting old now ?? After hitting by some flu, I felt like old poeple man...........Thank God I am getting better each day, more energy and less tired. Funny thought, I never lose my appetite, I went to Saliburys to store up before get ill, that why I still can survive ..... This lesson teach me that I need to store up a bit more dry or canned food now in case any serious flu or natural disaster in the future.
Very unusual, I didn't feel bored to stay indoor for some many days...Sunday in bed for whole day after night duty...Monday had to go to Flu centre to collect the drugs, therefore I was outside the flat for few hours because I have to take local train to go the place, and then the following days I stayed indoor, not even went out to the back garden.....Now and then I get a bit tired, may be breath in too much of my CO2 ???? I must go out to have some fresh air and walk.......
Only got the nose block and bit of cough in the morning now, otherwise just a bit tired, I think I can go back to work on next monday..... After unwell for few days, I really appreciated the time I can work.....Do not complain if you can work because you are well to go to work......
I never dream about I do not have to work because I am rich......I hope I will be rich one day then I can do a lot of volunteer work, he, he, he.......
